Privacy policy

This policy explains what information HiDub processes, why we process it, and the choices available to you.

1. Information we collect

We collect account details such as your name, email address, authentication identifier, plan, and credit balance. When you use the studio, we process uploaded subtitles or text, translation edits, voice settings, generated audio, project metadata, and diagnostic events. Payment providers send us transaction status and limited billing information; we do not store complete card numbers.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide translation and speech generation, preserve project history, calculate credits, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and respond to support requests. Customer content is not used to train shared AI models.

3. Service providers

Translation may be processed by Alibaba Cloud Bailian. Asian-language speech may be processed by Alibaba Cloud voice services, and Western-language speech may be processed by Microsoft Azure AI Speech. Payment and infrastructure providers process only the information needed to deliver their services under contractual safeguards.

4. Storage and retention

Project retention depends on your plan and account settings. You may delete a project from the project menu. We may retain limited transaction, fraud-prevention, security, and legal records after content deletion where required.

5. Security

We use encrypted transport, access controls, service isolation, and encrypted storage where supported. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so we also limit collection and retention.

6. Your choices

You may access, correct, export, or delete eligible account information. You may also cancel a subscription, remove projects, and opt out of non-essential product email. Requests can be sent to [email protected].

7. International processing

To provide global translation and voice routing, information may be processed in regions outside your country. We use appropriate contractual and technical safeguards where required.
